Dr. Knight is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has been practicing in Richmond, VA for over 40 years.

She attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and received her Bachelors of Science degree in pre-medical studies.

She began a lucrative career in jewelry making, marketing to major department stores.

As planned, she matriculated at Howard University Medical School in Washington D.C.

Dr. Knight then entered a rotating internship then residency in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at Howard University Hospital

She opened her private practice for dermatology and for years, she was also a medical news reporter for Health Team Six, a medical segment on the Richmond based CBS affiliate, reporting on local and national health news.

Dr. Knight is the lead dermatologist at West End Dermatology Associates and founder of The Medi Spa West, a cosmetic spa for non-invasive treatment and rejuvenation of the face and body. She is also Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at VCU Medical Center.

Dr. Knight is currently and has been the Principal Investigator in many research trials and studies. She has participated in numerous investigational products to treat chronic and burdening skin diseases to help improve the quality of life for patients. Some of the disorders include alopecia, atopic dermatitis, hyperhidrosis, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, hand eczema and others.
Of the many things I love in life, interacting with so many wonderful people and their needs has been a luxury offered by the field of medicine.
The gratification that comes with diagnosing problems, learning the needs of patients, and helping them achieve their goals is so rewarding.
